Everyone has their own preference when it comes to coffee. One of the Oomph’s greatest unique features is that you can actually adjust the strength and flavour – a process coffee experts call ‘dialling in’ – even after you’ve brewed. The best part? You don’t need to throw your first attempt away. Watch the video to see how easy the Oomph makes it to find your perfect flavour.
With coffee pods you are restricted by the variety of coffees available in pod format. The Oomph uses ground coffee so the variety is practically endless. Unlike a pod machine the Oomph doesn’t have a set cup size so for those wanting a larger brew, you don’t need to water it down your coffee to achieve the same size.
Coffee pods have had their fair share of negative press due to them being almost impossible to recycle. This is because they are composed of both metal and plastic – with organic material (coffee) in the middle. The Oomph uses just ground coffee which is organic and totally eco friendly. With coffee pods costing between 30-50p for a small coffee the Oomph is also much cheaper with a large coffee coming in at less than £0.40p (but completely dependent of what coffee you decide to use!)
